FQHC Associates Cheat Sheet: HRSA announces $300 M supplemental funding for FQHCs to provide expanded services.

The supplemental funding will support:

  • Expanded primary care medical capacity 
  • Oral Health Services
  • Behavioral Health Services Pharmacy Services
  • Vision services 

Awards will be formula bases on recent UDS submitted and will include:

  • $178,000 base award 
  • $2.00 per patient
  • $4.00 per uninsured patient

All grantees are eligible with the exception of:

  • New Starts that have not verified at least one site in scope
  • Note: grantees that have not submitted UDS information by 4/15/2014 eligible for base amount only
  • 5 or more 60 day program requirement conditions 
  • 1 or more 30 day program requirement conditions

Application is through the EHB and requires:

  • Narrative: need, response, impact (3000 Characters – one page) 
  • 2 year budget justification

Application due date: July 1, 2014
Award date: September 2014
